J. Beck specializes in custom tattoos, including portraits, color, and black and grey.  He has been tattooing for eighteen years and piercing for thirteen years.  Portfolios with samples of J. We use pneumatic (air-powered) tattoo machines, which is the newest innovation in tattooing (visit www.neumatattoomachines.com for more information on pneumatic machines).  All needles and tubes are disposable to ensure your safety. 

This means that the needle and tube which you are tattooed with is brand new before it is used on you and is permanently disposed of after being used on you.  We are certified and inspected by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Health.  Your safety and health are our number one priority.  We will be happy to address any concerns or questions you might have about the safety or cleanliness of any procedures.
